The NFN event series kicks off with an emphasis on producing. Guest speaker Cairo Cannon has produced work for the BBC, Channel 4, ACE Visual Arts, Arts Council Lottery and the London Production Fund. Her work includes the award-winning documentary The Alcohol Years directed by Carol Morley. Cairo will discuss her journey, setting up an independent production company and give tips on crew and funding relationships. Refreshments provided.
