We’re casting for the lead in a short – working title The Necklace. The Necklace: An alcoholic street urchin wakes up after yet another booze fuelled night on the streets. In his pocket is a necklace, but who’s is it? Why does he have it? What should he do with it? As the memories of the previous night begin to trickle back into focus our lead begins to wonder if he really does want to find the answer to these questions. Role – Tramp: Male. Late 30s-40s. Must be a strong character actor as this story is told without much dialogue. Not too pretty. This work is unpaid, but we are a fun and driven team. This film will be shown on the film festival circuit so we can offer plenty of exposure. One of our team has recently won Best Actor at the Athens Fantasy Film Festival.
