The Cooperative British Youth Film Academy is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment. We take students from 8 Colleges and 1 University in the North West, put them together with seasoned professionals and create a feature film on an annual basis.

They are looking for an on set editor that is able to cut drama, must be open, committed and able to take direction well.

- Must have good leadership skills as well as technical ability. – Must be able to communicate ideas, principles and tasks to those underneath them. – Needs to have knowledge of Shakespeare language, grammar and syntax. – Final Cut Pro trained is preferable, or at least enough technical aptitude to cross over from Avid.

This year the BYFA is filming a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It.’ The location will be in and around Blackburn.
