Breaking Cycles is a national and international advocate for Hip Hop Theatre, playing a key role in its development as an art form, challenging, engaging and creating new audiences for theatre. Process08 Hip Hop Film Festival presents a rich and diverse programme of shorts, documentaries and feature productions inspired by and produced in the context of Hip Hop culture by new and existing film makers, including home grown talent.
We are looking for an Intern to assist and support in the development and delivery of the Process08 Hip Hop Film Festival. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved in a unique and exciting project where you will work across all activities to increase your knowledge and gain experience in arts administration, event management, independent film screening, project marketing and audience development.
We are looking for a self motivated and committed individual with the ability to work on their own initiative and who will treat all tasks with equal enthusiasm and professionalism to make the most of all opportunities offered. The Intern will need good communication, organisational, administrative/clerical and IT skills and be able to carry out the role efficiently.
Project Timescale: May – August 2008. You will need to be available for one or two days per week during this period.
