Northern Film Network are proud to present a hands on introduction to social media and its uses for creating a filmmaker’s community, covering the uses of tools such as Twitter, Facebook,BookmarkingBlogs, Wikis,
RSS and of
course networks like Shooting People. The event will be hosted by Manchester filmmaker and
NFN podcaster Maria Gabriella, who also helps to run the Social Media Cafe Manchester.
The aim will be to create the beginnings of
NFN’s social media community that evening.
There will also be time for some good old fashioned networking!
