November sees the return of the UK’s Festival of Nordic Art & Culture, where the best in collaborative works from the UK and Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are showcased at FACT in Liverpool.

This year the Festival is presenting its first ever film programme, premiering the best new features, documentaries, animations, shorts, and artists’ video to come out of the Nordic region.

The Festival opens on Thursday 19th November at FACT with the UK Premiere of Helsinki, Forever, a portrait of the Finnish Capital by award winning director and film historian Peter Von Bagh. The documentary is a beautiful mosaic of the city’s history, as captured by leading Finnish feature filmmakers over a period of a hundred years. The film will be preceded by a drinks reception at FACT and followed by a party at 3345 Parr Street.
