Subsidised Video Training Projects @ Soap Box Films

Jun 3, 07:00 PM by Kate Taylor

Soap Box Films is a social enterprise specialising in video training projects and video productions. They have been awarded a Big Lottery Grant and funding from Children in Need to work with young people (13-19) across Merseyside on video training projects. They can currently offer a 60% subsidy off the price of a full project.

Projects are tailor made to suit the needs and requirements of the clients and groups we are working with. The length can vary but usually are 6 – 10 days long. These days can be in a block or spread across over several months. They also run holiday, evening and weekend projects. One of the many outcomes of the projects is an 8 – 10 minute DVD and they can also offer Level 1 and Level 2 OCN accreditations as part of our courses. For some examples of their work click here

They are currently looking to set up meetings in the different boroughs to discuss, in detail, what this means to your organisation and area; and how video projects can fit in with what work you are currently doing with young people.
