The Film Den @ Matt n Phreds

The Film Den has been setup to establish an event in Manchester which will give amateur or upcoming film makers (or just friends who make videos every now and again) the opportunity to showcase their work in front of an audience. Superstars all have to start somewhere, and very often it’s in backstreet/underground venues which are advocating new talent – just like The Film Den.

The first event is in January and already we are taking submissions to be shown at The Film Den. However, we want to develop a strong network of filmmakers in the area and so today, I ask of you to do 2 things:
1. Think about people you know who have some film making talent or interest and put them on to us at www.thefilmden.co.uk
2. Get together with your chums and make a film yourself. All you need is a camcorder and a basic editing package. You will probably be surprised at just how well you do.

The Film Den is set to be a great opportunity for Manchester based fresh talent, as well as a very entertaining night out for those who come along to watch, eat, drink and be generally merry. You can also join our Facebook group here.
