Short films play an important part in the early career of the emerging filmmaker but getting them right is harder than it looks. Rebecca Mark-Lawson (Lifesize Pictures/UKFC) and Will Massa (Vision+Media) lead a session on the cornerstones of good short filmmaking, considering the crucial elements of a successful project as it makes the journey from script to screen and beyond. There is no magic formula, but there are plenty of valuable ingredients.
