So, you want to plan your first feature? What are the key elements of your plan? How do you go about it? What are the pitfalls? In this session, we will examine how three particular filmmakers approached some of the key elements in planning their First Feature.

From developing a good script; having a good creative producer; how they set about raising finance; and what promotional tools they used in raising the bar (such as producing a teaser and promotional package) to get people on board? And let’s not forget; how do you protect your ideas?
